Example, since we live in a French province, we often have to type the french version of Montreal.
We start by typing 'Montr' when the é is necessary, we hold one of the
keys on our keyboard, using the numeric keypad on the
right side of
your Standard keyboard, tap 0233 The é would pop in and we would continue typing the al.
Don't be afraid, open your word processor and give it a try. It really isn't that hard and it's kind of fun.
Steps
The following method uses a standard keyboard.
The numeric keypad must be active for the following operation to work. If the indicator light is not eliminated, tap the NUM LOCK key prior to performing the operation.
Hold either
key (use your left hand).
Using the numeric keypad on the right, tap the corresponding number sequence

If you are using a laptop Due to the compactness of a laptop keyboard, the numeric keypad is usually located within the alpha character area of the keyboard. The numbers are normally located on the right side of the key and colored differently then the other characters.
The Fn key is usually located somewhere on the left of the keyboard and colored the same as the number keys.
Hold the Fn &
keys together (use your left hand),
Using the numeric keypad of you keyboard, tap the corresponding number sequence including the 0.
